The season for One World is coming to a close. We will be busy writing grants and promoting our 2011 programs during the winter months. I wanted to let you all in on what we have in front of us.
Youth Adventure Travel Programs- We have strategically planned trips during the summer of 2011 to suit the desires of all youth. Not every kid has the same ideas of fun so we come up with a week of backpacking, caving, boating, and climbing. Each week will focus on one activity and will give each kid the chance to learn all of the in's and outs of the program. We are also offering city tours up to 3 days to the South's greatest cities. They will take in sites such as museums, local restaurants, and learn about the history & culture of each city.
Couples Camp- I hear the question all the time, "Are your programs for adults too?" Although we work with youth, yes, we are going to give adults the opportunity to enjoy a camp experience. In May 2011, enjoy traditional camp activities such as canoeing, archery, horseback riding, riflery, art, woodworking and more.
Service Learning- Be a volunteer for One World Adventure Company and head up meaningful service projects in the community. If you have skills such as carpentry or gardening, we would love for you to spend time with us helping others.
Private Summer Camp Experiences- Do you live in a community that has lots of kids and everyone is going in too many directions. One World can come to your community and put on a week long day camp. Focusing on leadership, outdoor fun, health, art and more One World can make summer camp fun for the neighborhood kids and easy on parents.
Winning Athletic Teams Program- Give your team a true competitive edge and achieve top performance. One World can host any sports team, athletic department, and coaches workshops.
Workshops for Students- One World can provide a hands on learning experience that build tangible life skills and promote personal growth. Each workshop can range from one day to an on-going program.
Teacher and Staff Team-Building- Educators can choose an in-depth workshop that explores a specific topic or work on group fun, camaraderie, and rejuvenation through our team-building activities and initiatives.
